Major works have been under way to improve the town centre of Baldock High Street.
CCE Surfacing were invited by Toppesfield Limited and Scanska the main contractor to resin bond the surface of the pavements, driveways and parking bays.

The project involved a careful programme of works to prevent as much disruption to the towns' folk as possible. All works had to be carefully organised. Some areas were surfaced after the shops closed and swept before they opened the following day, thus allowing the traders to go about their business uninterrupted.

CCE's Supervisor liased with the shop holders. They were kept fully informed of the area being worked on next and everyone was happy. In fact they are delighted with the results of their "new look" high street.

Efficiency and professionalism were never in doubt and the hard work paid off with 4,800 square metres sealed and resin bonded. The chosen aggregate was 2-5mm Corn Flint and the works completed in a little under four weeks.

The town centre has been transformed with the newly surfaced area enhancing the thoroughfare.
