ANOTHER FEATHER IN CIRENCESTER CIVIL ENGINEERING'S CAP!

Cirencester Civil Engineering has recently been involved at the Chelsea Flower Show with Christine Popplewell, a well renowned garden designer and former medal winner at the Chelsea Flower Show. This year they have been awarded a trophy for “Excellent Presentation”.

They installed a decorative resin surface, Addaset, which uses a natural aggregate called Dovedale Cream, from Derbyshire, and a clear resin to bind the aggregate together on the pathway which meanders through Ms Popplewell’s exhibit, which she has designed and built for David Harber – who in turn designs and makes stunning artistic sculptural timepieces set in landscape gardens. Ms Popplewell was absolutely delighted with the end results, and so it seems were the judges!

Cirencester Civil Engineering Ltd have a long history of quality surfacing work, they worked along side Pantiles Nurseries Ltd who’s Futuristic Roof Top Design scooped a Gold Medal at the Hampton Court Flower Show. One of this years gold medal winners, the designer Ginny Blom, has also used Cirencester Civil Engineering Ltd on one of her garden designs at a grand house in Oxfordshire using natural products to exacting requirements. Other prestigious work that the company have been involved with is the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain in Hyde Park, The Tate Modern and London Eye to name but a few.

Marketing Manager Sue Sugg said “This was a splendid opportunity for Cirencester Civil Engineering to show their workmanship and capability in a high pressure environment using high quality resin surfacing materials, and decorative aggregates for the event. Although it seems we have only carried out prestigious contracts for the rich and famous, our core business is providing driveways, pathways and decorative surfaces to a whole range of individuals and corporate clients, large and small.
